Hakuoki: Memories of Love (Hijikata Toshizo) ミ☆

Oops. I did it again. Ahhhh, I'm so sorry, lovelies! I have a tendency to neglect my blogging (if you've ever followed my DA, you'd know lmao). I get lazy and caught up in real life. A lot of things have happened, but I'll save that for a different post.

Anyways, I'M BACK and I acquired the limited edition box for Hakuoki ~Stories of the Shinsengumi~ on the PS3. (I bought this the day after it came out, but haven't been able to play it until last week.)

Just last year, I became an otome game fanatic and have probably catapulted bags of money at a certain company for their phone apps *coughVOLTAGEcought*. A friend recommended that I play Hakuoki on the PSP, and it was the best/worst mistake of my life. When the PS3 version was announced, I hopped on that preorder right away! How could I not? There's SO MUCH content, and the high school AU was something that I'd resigned myself to never having in any way, shape, or form. Someday, I hope to be able to play the ~Sweet School Life~ doujin, but I don't have a Vita or the ability read Japanese.

Now that I actually have time to play, I decided that I'd like to make walk-throughs for the "Memories of Love" portions. (THEY'REREALLYCUTEOMGICAN'TEVEN.) Granted, you most likely wouldn't even need to use a walk-through, seeing as there are only ever 2 choices per chapter, but eh. I'll most likely start putting out walk-throughs for some of the Voltage games I've gotten, too.

Unfortunately (Fortunately?), it didn't occur to me to start doing this sooner, as I've already finished played through 4 of them. ahahaha I'll just do it all over again! :D

Well, PAX Prime 2013 has come and gone. I can, honestly, say that I had a good time this year despite all of the recently accumulated drama surrounding the con. (If you've no idea what I'm talking about, you can refer to this well-written article on WIRED. Why I'm Never Going Back to Penny Arcade Expo)

haha There wasn't anything bad about the con, from my experience. Good friends will always make your experience a thousand times more entertaining.

A LOT has happened in the last couple of months. Some ups and some downs...but that's life, huh?
Anyways, I'm sitting here at the bf's place, listening to him derp in frustration over stuff in Tera. lol So, I decided to update with some shenanigans. (Though, I'll most likely be back home by the time this gets published. 05/19/13 :P)

More shenanigans. lol I find blogging to be kind of therapeutic.

I've been feeling really anxious the last few days. Finals are coming up and I'm confident that I'll do well. At the same time, though, I'm wary. Ahhhh! We'll see. I did really well on my midterm...so....IDK. Also, I've been studying my butt off.

I've got an interview for my externship. I'm freaking out guys. I always think that I do well in interviews and then I don't get the job. lol Granted, this isn't for a job, but it's still an interview. Uggghhhh. Crossing my fingers. IDONTKNOWWHATTOWEAR.

This weekend, I'm going to another Hammer Improv show with the bf. Check it out if you're interested/in the area! It's this Saturday (March 16th) at Third Street Theatre in Los Angeles.

I'm really excited. It's going to be the way that I celebrate the end of my course. My final is Saturday morning and then I'll go to the show Saturday night. My last day of school is the 23rd. When I finish my externship? I will be doooooooone. I will be licensed to wooooork. Yessssss. Well, actually...no. After the course is complete, I still need to mail in my stuff to the Board of Pharmacy in order to get my license. Balls. Whatever. WOOOOOT.

Today, I finally took pictures for my upcoming lens review. My skin has just not been cooperating with me, at all. It's been a while since I last had bad breakouts. Recently, it's flared up again. I blame it on the stress.

My amazing friend, Rai Kamishiro, released more awesome music! Titled "Earth to Venus." I love space things. The title just speaks to me. lol It's a great single. I love the mellow feel of it. It's the kind of song that I could definitely listen to while strolling around the city. Oh, how I miss the freedom and clouds of the Pacific Northwest. <3

Seriously, though. I am sooooo feeling this. I'm not just saying that because Rai is my friend. haha I love this kind of music. I've been listening to a lot of Late Night Alumni, Jhameel, Clazziquai, and J-Boogie's Dubtronic Science lately. This single, is right in line with that.

Mass Effect 3's last DLC, Citadel, came out. OMGGG. FEELS. lol jk I have feels from the trailer. I haven't had the time to finish playing it...or really even get that far. S'ok though. Just means that I've got more to play if I don't do it all in one sitting. I'm too busy to do it all at once anyway. OTL

I looooove Shep's pad. I love modern looking places. Can I please have a futuristic cabin? I really want something that looks super cute, sorta rustic, on the outside and something modern/homey on the inside. Somedaaaaay.

I went to PaleyFest to see the cast of Community last week. I'll be making a post on that, too.
