Nail Art ミ☆

Hello Internet!

Do you guys love nail art? I do. I love seeing how creative people can be with such a small canvas. Also, unless you're ambidextrous or working on fake nail sets...it's pretty difficult to paint your non-dominant side. So, I've got mad respect for those of you who can do that crazy intricate nail art on yourselves. YOU GO, GURL/BOY.

I became interested in nail art back in Seattle, around the same time that I started being able to afford lolita clothes. A lot of times, you'll see lolitas and gyaru with crazy/amazing nails that match their outfits. I started trying to emulate that with my own nails...but I failed. lol These days, I keep it pretty simple. I used to glue a lot of random things onto my nails, but I'm too active to keep them on for long. Typically, I don't even realize that something I glued on went missing, until waaaaaay later.

My favorite person's nails to look at belong to Sakurina. Her nails are suuuuper cool. A bit too outlandish for my personal tastes, but OMG do I love to look at her nail bling.
Seriously. Check that shiz out!

Purikura Lolita Meet

Hellooooo!

So, last Friday (4/26/13) I had the opportunity to make it out to Garden Grove for a small lolita meetup. I haven't been to a meetup in sooooo long. It was fun to get all dolled up again. There were only seven of us, but that made it easier to get to know one another. :)

Once Upon A Time...

Hey everyone!

I've been thinking a lot, recently, about my past selves. Just thinking about how much I've grown as a person and how my style has changed so many times throughout the years. Seriously, I did "goth", punk, "skater", prep, emo, theatre kid, otaku, visual-kei, lolita, etc...

I was looking at my old yearbooks. Good gravy. What the heck was I thinking? I'm sure that many of us think that. Of course, those are the years where we're still trying to find ourselves. Then again...we're always evolving...at this point I'm just rambling. lol

Anyways, because I'm comfortable with laughing at myself, I felt like sharing some embarrassing photos of my youth. I dove into the dark underworld of myspace and retrieved a few gems. XD It's interesting to see it all together.
